Become the parent you want to be.

become the parent you want to be

Your previously easy-going little one has turned into a demanding and unreasonable 3 year old. Tantrums and meltdowns? Check. Your patience is stretched thin and you are worn out and worn down.

Your 6 year old? Argues. About. Everything.  She should be able to clean up her toys or brush her teeth at bedtime without controversy. It’s exhausting — and frankly you just don’t want to negotiate things that should be simple!

Parenting is harder than you ever thought it could be.

Learn how to stop struggling and get your children to cooperate.

Work with me and get the guidance and compassion you need to transform your parenting and change your life.
I sought help from Sarah after battles with my daughter that ended in either yelling or tears…or both. Working with Sarah, I learned how to address conflict within my family. Her empathy and kindness for our situation was so heartwarming and I felt so comfortable opening up. Sarah makes you feel like she gets it. She has worked with me to see why things are the way they are and how my childhood affects the way I parent. Thanks to Sarah, I am having an easier time talking myself into calm and out of anger while simultaneously coaching my children through their upset. I can finally envision a more peaceful family. Thank you, Sarah!! Liz

I believe our children want to be good and want to be close to us.

I believe connection with our children is the the most powerful way we can influence them.

I believe no one deserves to be yelled at. I believe children can learn without being made to feel bad.

I believe in a non-punitive, connection based approach to parenting that uses kind, firm limits with lots of empathy.

I believe in YOU.

Work with me and get the resources and guidance you need to respond to your children with more patience and emotional generosity.

Work with me and learn a practical and compassionate approach for less drama and more love in your family.

I started working with Sarah when my daughter was starting to approach the terrible 2s. She has always been very strong-willed but I had no idea how to deal with the temper tantrums she started having. I was feeling so overwhelmed with how to manage, especially with friends and family giving conflicting suggestions that I didn’t necessarily agree with. Sarah educated me on why the tantrums were happening and talked me through tons of different scenarios. I felt so much better equipped to manage the situations and noticed changes in my daughters behaviour right away.

Sarah has also been so helpful anytime I have questions or need tips. I really appreciate her positive approach to parenting and feel reassured that she is only an email or phone call away anytime I have a question or am facing a challenge. Things have gotten so much easier over the past few months and I’m so grateful for Sarah’s support.

Sarah has a big heart and a lot of empathy. She really listened to my concerns and directed me toward practical solutions. And while she helped me address many everyday issues – sleep, behaviour, eating -one of the biggest gifts she gave me was to help me better understand who my children are and what I can do help them – and myself – thrive.

Sarah helped me to understand why my children were fighting and how to effectively resolve the problem.
With immense kindness, warmth and clarity, Sarah gave me a new perspective and  specific strategies for responding with confidence and respect to the tensions that emerge between my children.
