Thank you so much for this excellent podcast episode taking it back to first steps of recognizing what is going on and why we as parents feel like failures even though we are “doing all the things”. It was so validating. I loved the language used about kids being “more and extra”. So helpful. I have always thought there was something wrong with me even though I’d consider myself to be smart and sensible but I couldn’t seem to manage my only child while other moms skipped through daisy fields with 4! Now I know he is extra which a shot of ADHD and we can manage better as we can accept that there is reason and we don’t have to follow what “works” for others if it doesn’t work for us. Thank you for all your work.
I am so glad it resonated with you and that you found it helpful. xx
