“What kids really need is love without strings attached.”- Alfie Kohn

Our kids need to know that we love them NO MATTER WHAT.

Even when they do things we don’t like.

Even when they are “rude” or “disrespectful.”

Even when they’re melting down.

This is hard!

We need to remind ourselves that they are doing the best they can so that we can act out of a place of compassion and empathy.
